Great Way to Start 2011!!!!!

The Aussie Millions is over and done with for another year and what an awesome few weeks it was. These series are generally extremely busy for me with having sessions and railing clients during the tournaments, as well as starting later in the day with cash game players. These series are always productive for myself and Dare2Dream as I seem to get an influx of interest from new players, looking to improve their mental games.
This Aussie Millions was NO different. What seemed to be different about this years Aussie Millions was the calibre of players touching base to learn more about the Mental Game. Players like James Akenhead, JP Kelly, Peter Jetten, Maria Ho as well as a bunch of others wanting to touch base and begin to look at fine tuning before the 2011 WSOP, shows me that the Mental Game is fast becoming a priority to the world best players in helping them bring their A Game to a higher percentage of hands.
The Aussie Millions also brought some greats results for D2D players both on and off the felt. Barry Woods contacted me late last year to begin to do some work to help him play his best during the AM series, and the hard worked was rewarded with a fairly solid series, culminating in a 2nd place in the $10K Heads Up event. Barry finished 2nd in the same event last year, but the field in this years H/U was regarded as one of the best H/U fields ever seen. Barry had to beat Scott Palmer in the 1st round to even get his run started, but from then on Barry went from strength to strength and was unlucky not to beat eventual winner, Carlos Mortensen in the Final.
There was also a lot of other deep runs like Kristian Lunardi's run in event 1 as well as Billy Jordanau finishing 4th in the Turbo Event.
The Aussie Millions also gave me the oppourtunity to meet the PokerNews Strategy boys. Late last year I decided to align myself with PokerNews Strategy as their Mental Game coach, even though PNS is a new player in the online training site world, the quality of players I believe are the best in the world.
Here's a list of the coaches on PNS-
Randy "Nanonoko" Lew
Scott "URnotINdanger2" Palmer
Josh "LitleBastrd" Tiemen
Evan "MacDaddy34" Panesis
Kane " Nascar_1949" Kalas
John "UMDTennis" O'Rourke
Evan "NeonPills99" Parkes
Rayan "rkruok" Nathan
Jake "psutennis11" Toole
Adam "Kaato KKatelyn" Johnson

These guys are some of the best winning players online, from a variety of games, so that was one of the main reasons I signed with PNS, but during the Aussie Millions, I found out that these guys are a great bunch to hang out with and together we will be looking to take PNS to the masses in 2011.

So I am hoping that over the next few weeks, we can add some high profile players to the list of D2D players looking to improve their game and give themselves the best possible chance to collect a bracelet ot the 2011 WSOP as well as make 2011 their best year so far.

I look forward to filling you in on the journey and remember, for all your mental game information, check out-

For now, one of my main priorities is getting some much needed rest, as well as looking forward to getting back to some great exercise habits over the next few weeks.

Cheers
