Rnd 2 at The Masters! B-Mac is READY!!

Sorry my round 2 blog is a little late in coming but we have had a little celebrating to do:)

Even though Bryden missed the cut with score of 153, his 2nd round of 76 was filled with a large amount of impressive golf. We once again were penalised severely for any mistakes we made, even if the mistake was a mid iron pitching 2 ft from our target, the ball ended up 40-50ft away from the pin. Friday afternoon in a great pairing with Ben Crenshaw is something I will never forget, with Bryden loving the atmosphere and showing to myself and everyone watching, he belongs in this environment. Not once did he show he felt uncomfortable in the situation and thrived on the crowds and the atmosphere, with Friday showing some of the best golf he has ever played.
His first 6 and last 6 holes we filled with such quality of golf, Ben Crenshaw could only shake his head with delight. Ben was one of the most amazing playing partners we could have hoped for, making the week just that much more special.
Bryden attacked the back nine a lot more on Friday hitting the 13th in 2 with a Hybrid and then going for the green in 2 on the 15th, from 260yds out! Bryden had to hit his 3 wood high and hard to get over the water on 15 and he ended up hitting one of the best shots of the week, pitching it in the middle of the green before rolling over the back.!
The one thing that let him down this week was his putting, which would be a surprise to everyone. Bryden is the one of the best putters going around, and not having the flat stick working on the week of The Masters, makes it tought to compete.
This week was the week to really measure whtehr B-Mac is ready to turn Pro and there was no doubt in my mind, as well as the mind's of Denis and Dave that he is ready! The next phase from B-Mac is to continue to develop the areas of his game that will help him compete on the US Tour.
Brydens plan is to turn Pro on Monday and his next guaranteed start is at the Memorial Event in late May.
The week we have had this week could be described as nothing other than magical! Its weeks like this that make me thankful for being a visual person, as no photo could do justice to what I have experienced this week and will be something I will continue to replay everyday until I am there again.
