Its Saturday morning and my usual Gym session follwed by a nice breakfast at Cafe Ivanhoe, has been changed as I am going to try my luck at an Aussie Millions Main Event Satellite.
I believe the satellite is a $150 Buy In with a 30K starting stack, guaranteed 3 seats on offer. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me as I love playing deepstack tournies.
I am also excited to mention that we have Brendon "Brendooor" Rubie blogging on Dare2Dream about his life as an online poker pro.
Brendon is currently ranked No 1 in Australia for MTTs and is not only a great poker player, but one of the best young guys you will ever meet.
He has been giving Jackstar some online coaching over the past few months and I have been lucky enough to listen to a few of his thoughts on playing online and will try and put that intopractise today, even though its a satellite. Im sure it will help.
So hopefully my Saturday will consist of sitting at the poker table for most of the day and end up with a Main Event seat as in 2010, I have not played anywhere near enough tournament poker being so busy with clients, but hopefully I can fit in a few more tournies in 2011 and have that deep run to a FT somewhere myself.
