Wednesday at Augusta! The Finishing Touches:)

Wednesday before Rnd 1 and it was always going to be an easy day from a practise point of view. It ended up being a little lighter than we had first planned, as the Par 3 Comp got canc just before Bryden was suppose to tee off. This was probably a blessing, as having a light afternoon was exactly what we wanted fror B-Mac.
The day started with a workour with his trainer, Dave Donatucci, nothing too heavy or strenuous, but more of a core workout. We then headed to the course for a little work with Denis and also planned to play the back nine.
We saw Matt Kuchar on the putting green and he asked us if we wanted to join him for 9, obviously an easy decision. We ended up playing with Gary Woodland as well and Bryden was in on a little skins action. The 9 holes was a lot of fun, with all the boys participating in a little sledging as well as some good competition before tomorrows 1st round.
After the 9 holes, Bryden went and had some lunch before a little fine tuning on his wedge game. After this, we headed off back to the house and relaxed for the afternoon with a little BBall and some ping pong.
The last 4-5 days or so has been a lot of fun in an extremely relaxed atmosphere, but I can assure you as soon as we wake up in the morning, it will be all systems GO!

We are both looking forward to getting out there and seeing what numbers we can post and after last nights storm, and how soft and long the course played today, it is going to be a tough day! The course when soft, plays long but you have to be extremely accurate with your approaches into greens, which is tough with mid/long irons.

All we can do it is execute as best as we can and enjoy every challenge that Augusta National throws at us, and it will and WE WILL!!

Look forward to writing tomorrow nights blog and letting you all know what it was like to compete at the US Masters, well sort of compete:)
